The quality of textures and brushwork is the juiciest aspect of oil painting. This issue is at once, technical, intuitive and mysterious. This new workshop will open up the fascinating world of painting surfaces. We will explore a variety of painting supports, mediums, brushes and the phenomenal range of paint textures. The workshop will provide a thorough technical knowledge of the materials, advance the sensitivity for paint application and inspire experimentation.
