Collage Workshop with Rotem Amizur

The Art of Collage is about taking the reality apart into shapes and colors and putting them back together in harmonic and playful arrangements. We will move around colored papers freely. The arrangement can be changed again and again easily, until we arrive at a sense of harmony and aesthetic magic. The process is technically simple, engaging, and playful.

As a context to our playfulness, we will look at art historical images and will learn from wisdom of the masters. How does one build a strong composition? How does one create a sense of light? Where do we start from?

We will work from masterworks from art history and from live models.

Workshop Dates: Mondays 19.00-21.00 / September 2, 9, 16, 23 / 4 sessions

Workshop Fee: 1,300 shekels (Materials are included in the workshop fee)
