Masterworks: Tradition and Novelty

You are cordially invited to a new open zoom lecture: "Masterworks: Tradition and Novelty". In today's art world novelty is glorified while more "traditional" art forms are greeted with decreasing acceptance.  In this lecture we will examine the interconnection of tradition, innovation and personal creativity. Specifically we will aim to discover what Masterwork are, and what value Masterworks of the past have to offer in the present.  

The lecture is designed for artists, students and anyone with interest in the visual arts.
