Color of Flesh: Painting the Human Body

It has been said that oil colors were invented to paint the human body. Oil painting is indeed sensuous and perfectly suited to convey the corporeality and luminosity of the flesh. However, it may take tremendous amount of experience to approximate the appearance of the body in paint. To save months of trials-and-errors, in this one-day workshop we will learn effective strategies of interpreting the nude figure using color.
